ESP follows how someone gets an urge for something - that sort of psychic longing that starts with a small observation and builds into an action.. . .
It could be the inspiration for really heavy topics, but in this instance, I chose to make it about caffeine addiction. The tracks start with the experience of staying up all night, which takes you down the path of making and consuming an espresso. They suggest anticipation and ritual; culminating into a caffeine buzz. The title of the album, ESP plays on making the mental image of desire into reality. You predict your own future by the actions you take in the present. It's also a play on words of the subject of desire, ESPresso.
A little jazz, a little chill.
